What a Christmas party costs
Alfresco and beach bookings have no venue hire: you order share platters for the group and a $200 deposit locks in your date. Festive set menus in the restaurant are priced per person, with a $20pp deposit that comes off your final bill. Drinks can run on a beverage package or a bar tab, whichever suits.

Festive set menu and festive beverage package prices are for the 2026 festive season. Share platter prices are for the 2026/27 season, guaranteed for 6 months from confirmation. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
The Upstairs Function Room
The whole room and two adjoining balconies for your team, with 180 degree views over the beach and out to the Indian Ocean.

Confirm with a deposit
A deposit locks in your date. Final numbers are due two weeks out, and the rest is sunset, food and your team on the beach.

Before you enquire
For a relaxed, stand-up party, book an alfresco area or tables on the beach and order share platters: the Southern Alfresco takes up to 40 guests exclusively and the Northern Alfresco up to 100. For a sit-down lunch or dinner, the festive set menu in the restaurant seats groups of up to 50. If you want the space to yourselves with a microphone for speeches, ask about the upstairs function room.

Yes. Alfresco and beach bookings are confirmed with a $200 non-refundable deposit. Festive set menu bookings are confirmed with a deposit of $20pp for your expected numbers, which is deducted from your final bill. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Not downstairs. The alfresco and beach areas run on house music with no microphone access. If speeches or awards are part of your plan, the upstairs function room is the right booking, since it includes a PA system and microphone.
For festive set menu bookings you can bring your own Christmas decorations for the table. Because the venue is so close to the ocean, glitter and confetti are not allowed anywhere, and balloons are not permitted in the alfresco or beach areas.
Bathers Beach House is open every day except Christmas Day. Fridays and Saturdays in December are the first to book out, so if your date is flexible, ask about Sunday to Thursday. Send your preferred date and the team will confirm what's available.
Final numbers and final payment are due two weeks before your event. For festive set menus, any group of more than 12 dines from the set menu, and everyone chooses their dishes on the day.
